What we make

Films that reveal the soul of your brand — and make people want to be part of it.

We uncover what makes your brand unmistakably yours, then bring it to life in a way that moves people from understanding what you do to believing in why you do it — whether they’re customers, clients, investors, or your own team.

Anthem & manifesto films

A cinematic expression of what your brand believes, made to be felt as much as understood.

Founder & origin stories

The story of why the company exists, told through the people, their convictions, and the formative moments that made it what it is today.

Reimagining a 70-year-old brand

Volpi had seven decades of Swiss engineering heritage and a rich history of major contributions to human discovery. They needed a film that honored their past while recognizing the present contributions of their team in launching them bravely into the future.

For its 70th anniversary, Volpi needed a film that covered both the history of a Swiss precision-optics manufacturer and its role in next-generation diagnostic platforms. Handshake filmed at both sites, in Dietikon and Auburn, New York, and spent time with leadership, product management, engineering and production before shooting. The crew worked efficiently in a regulated manufacturing environment with minimal disruption to operations, and the collaboration throughout was straightforward. The film now anchors Volpi's redesigned website.

How we work

A process that turns your mission into a film that moves people

Before we shoot, we look for the truth at the center of the company — the belief, mission, or idea that connects everything. We shape that into a clear story, then build the full force of production around it.

Discovery & narrative

Interviews with founders, staff, and customers that uncover the greater brand story behind it all.

Production

From intimate interviews to a large-scale cinematic shoot — on location, in studio, with real people or cast talent.

Film & derivatives

The hero film plus the shorter cuts for sales meetings, social versions, and stills your campaign will need next.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked before the first call.

Brand films often vary more than any other format, because the range runs from a single-location interview piece to a multi-day cinematic shoot. We scope to the story and give you a detailed estimate before starting.

It really comes down to the story we’re telling together. Most brand films land somewhere between 90 seconds and three minutes, with shorter or longer versions shaped for where they’ll live. We often plan the keynote and website cuts together from the same shoot so each one feels made for the moment.

A commercial is usually focused on one product, one audience, and one action. A brand film has a wider job: it helps customers, future hires, investors, and your own team understand who you are and why the company matters.

Absolutely. We’re based in New England, but our productions take us wherever the story needs to go — from shoots across the U.S. to the fjords of Iceland, the blue waters of Fiji, and the mountains of Switzerland.
