Times Square, three times

Brookstone came to us for one of the hardest placements there is — the largest screen in Times Square, playing to a crowd looking at everything at once. We created three pieces for it: a launch ad for Ariana Grande cat-ear headphones, a brand piece showing Brookstone products in everyday life, and a Star Wars branded Propel drone spot built from existing footage. Each had to make an immediate impression, work without sound, and hold its own above one of the busiest streets in the world.

How we work

A process built around the placement

The screen shapes the idea, so we start there.

Placement & concept

We start from the actual screen — its size, viewing distance, and dwell time — then shape the concept to make the most of each.

Design & animation

Bold, clear visuals paired with motion that catches the eye quickly and communicates the idea at a glance — with or without sound.

Every spec in the buy

Exact pixel dimensions, frame rates, and file formats for each vendor — prepared and delivered to match every spec sheet precisely.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked before the first call.

We scope each project around the length, visual complexity, and number of placements required, then provide a clear estimate upfront so you know exactly what’s included from the start.

Yes. We have produced work for the largest screen there, which has its own pixel dimensions, frame rate, and file requirements. We work from the vendor’s spec sheet directly and verify against it before handoff.

Mostly, yes. We design the idea to communicate visually first, so it works beautifully across placements with or without sound. When audio is available, we use it to add another layer of impact.

Sometimes. We’ll look at how the original piece is structured and recommend whether an adaptation or a purpose-built version will work best for the format, audience, and viewing experience. Often times, we’re able to rework it into the new format and it really shines.
