You’ve probably noticed after our last post that we overhauled our website to make it more… you guessed it: fun!
In our quest to apply our “fun-losophy” to everything we do, we decided to start with our first touchpoint with clients new and old. Here are a few fun highlights!
The homepage
Okay, remember in our last post when we said fun shouldn’t be burdensome? That was our guiding light…
Add delight, not weight.
Fun should be in service to the idea.
So when we wanted to spotlight a few of our projects on the homepage, we decided that’s where we’d start with the fun.
So we made the cursor a spotlight.

And when we thought about what makes working with us different from other agency, one word came to mind: “forecast.” So we built a forecast of the video production process with us and without us.

Next, we added a video game to show—not tell—how fun we can be to work with.
Sidenote: would love it if you tried it out and let us know what you think.

Testimonial sections can be pretty bland and we thought… “we kind of like to collect great testimonials.” So they became collectors cards.

And finally, my (Jean-Marc) personal favorite on the homepage…
We went meta and added a hand holding a phone for our Frequently Asked Questions section. And we made the thumb move. 😂

It wasn’t just the big sections we overhauled. We applied our fun-losophy anywhere we could think of. That meant asking our big question (“how do we make this more fun?”) about the smallest of things.
We had the nav buttons bounce on hover.

We made the Start Project popup more than just a contact form…

…and we transformed the Schedule a Call modal into an editing suite, allowing visitors to “cut to the chase” and schedule a call with us.

Fun-orable mentions
Some other areas on the site where we sprinkled in the fun was on our process page. We created a scroll-jacked journey that shows the whole production process…

…and after building up an appetite for video, we delivered the pièce de résistance…

…an interactive production services menu. Fill it out and we plate it up.
And on our philosophy page, we took our fun a little more seriously, adding a scrollable fun machine…

…photos of fun client moments…

…and an interactive “meet the founders” section where you can tap on either Jarin, myself, or the Handshake icon for more info about us (you may be surprised by what you find there 😜).

What’s next?
This is just the beginning of our fun-mplementation process. Next up, we’re thinking through onboarding and how to elevate that entire process. So stay tuned on that front and, as always, keep it serious(ly fun).
If you’d like us to help you make your business more fun, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ve got loads of ideas and a passion for making work more fulfilling and enjoyable.
Best,
— Your “friendors”
